"I spoke 48 hours ago with President Trump, who expressed his impatience. The question now is: what do we do about it? We [Europeans, editor's note] are ready," stressed the French leader, who was speaking alongside Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Emmanuel Macron is due to deliver the opening speech this evening at the Shangri-La Dialogue, the largest security and defense forum in Asia, which was attended last year by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky .
Accompanied by other European leaders of the "coalition of the willing" , Emmanuel Macron traveled to Kiev on May 10 , where they threatened Moscow with massive sanctions if Russia did not agree to an immediate ceasefire, an announcement that has not been followed up to date.
